I am thinking about purchasing a puppy from Canine Corral in Huntington, New York. Has anybody participating in the blog site ever purchased a puppy from Canine Corral?

I purchased my dog from Canine Corral in Huntington, NY and had no problems with the puppy or the pet store. Canine Corral even helped us obedience train hem. I can recommend them as a good store.

I am a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and I feel no one should breed, sell, eat, any animals!!!!!!

I bought both of my dogs for Canine Corral. And their great. I believe in proper care & treatment of all animals in pet stores. Canine Corral does a good job! You should be happy if you buy your puppy there.

No person or pet store should be allowed to sell any animals and that includes Canine Corral.

No, but if Canine Corral is a pet store that sells dogs, than I hate them and everything they stand for!!!!

Well I think Sara is a very closed minded and prejudice person. Now that she has admitted that she has no personal knowledge about Canine Corral and she has never even been in the store. Let’s be very clear that I have been in Canine Corral dozens of times and I have purchased a puppy from them. I can personally tell you that I have seen Canine Corral’s veterinarian examining the puppies there on a bi-weekly basis to insure that they are all in good shape. I think that Sara’s condemnation of Canine Corral is appalling because she has made her wild claims without any proof.

Thank you so much. I have one more question, the puppy my Husband and I are looking at is ICA (International Canine Association,) registered. They gave me a brochure on the company and I see that the American Canine Association handles a lot of their services for ICA dogs registered in the USA. Is the ICA an good dog registry?

What is the breed of dog your looking to get from Canine Corral?

A Bichon.

From what I understand, the ICA is an international registry associated with the American Canine Association (ACA). You automatically have ACA’s programs that gives you ACA lost and found tags for your dog and microchip activation through the ACA. We do use those services and the Ask-A-Trainer and Ask-A-Vet services with ACA. Here’s a couple of links to them.

I bought a dog from Canine Corral two years ago and we are very happy. The people that work there seem to be very knowledgeable and are always cleaning and taking care of the puppies.

We got our two dogs at Canine Corral. My only complaint is that it is so busy there sometimes when we go. It’s best to make an appointment if your going to buy a puppy.

Does anyone know how many puppies Canine Corral sells in a year?

I’m sure Canine Corral sells a lot of dogs. But, I do not think that is a bad thing. Canine Corral is a professional business that knows what they are doing and do a great job at it. Would you want to be the first patient of a heart surgeon on his first solo operation or his 500th? They have been in Huntington, NY since we bought our house and that was back in 1971.

There are female doctors too you know!

My apologies Sara. Women certainly can be heart surgeons. And to make you happy - I would rather have a woman heart surgeon operating on me than a male heart surgeon.
