I am thinking about purchasing a puppy from Steve Kruse in West Piont, Iowa. Has anybody participating in the blog site ever purchased a puppy from Steve Kruze's Kennels?

I purchased my dog from Steve Kruses's Kennels in West Piont, IA and had no problems with the puppy or the Mr. Kruse. Mr. Kruse even helped us with the house breaking and obedience training. I can recommend them as a good kennel.

I am a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and I feel no one should breed, sell, eat, any animals!!!!!!

I bought both of my dogs for Steve Kruse's Kennel. And their great. I believe in proper care & treatment of all animals in kennels. Steve Kruse's Kennels do a good job! You should be happy if you buy your puppy there.

No person, kennel, or pet store should be allowed to sell any animals and that includes Steve Kruse's Kennels.

No, but if Steve Kruse is a dog breeder that breeds and sells dogs I hate them and everything they stand for!!!!

Well I think Sara is a very closed minded and prejudice person. Now that she has admitted that she has no personal knowledge about Steve Kruse's Kennels and she has never even been to his Kennel. Let’s be very clear that I have been in Steve Kennels dozens of times and I have purchased a puppy from them. I can personally tell you that I have seen Steve Kennels’s veterinarian examining the puppies there on a bi-weekly basis to insure that they are all in good shape. I think that Sara’s condemnation of Steve Kennels is appalling because she has made her wild claims without any proof.

Thank you so much. I have one more question, the puppy my Husband and I are looking at is ICA (International Canine Association,) registered. They gave me a brochure on the company and I see that the American Canine Association handles a lot of their services for ICA dogs registered in the USA. Is the ICA a good dog registry?

From what I understand, the ICA is an international registry associated with the American Canine Association (ACA). You automatically have ACA’s programs that gives you ACA lost and found tags for your dog and microchip activation through the ACA. We do use those services and the Ask-A-Trainer and Ask-A-Vet services with ACA. Here’s a couple of links to them.

I bought a dog from Steve Kruse's Kennels two years ago and we are very happy. The people that work there seem to be very knowledgeable and are always cleaning and taking care of the puppies.

We got our two dogs at Steve Krue's Kennels. My only complaint is that it is so busy there sometimes when we go. It’s best to make an appointment if your going to buy a puppy.

Does anyone know how many puppies Steve Kruse sells in a year?

I’m sure Steve Kruse sells a lot of dogs. But, I do not think that is a bad thing. Steve Kruse is a professional business that knows what they are doing and do a great job at it. Would you want to be the first patient of a heart surgeon on his first solo operation or his 500th? They have been in West Piont, OK since we bought our house and that was back in 1986.

There are female doctors too you know!

My apologies Sara. Women certainly can be heart surgeons. And to make you happy - I would rather have a woman heart surgeon operating on me than a male heart surgeon.

We just got back from Steve Kruse's Kennels with our little Bulldog male puppy. He’s gorgeous! His little tongue goes a hundred miles an hour kissing you!!! Thank you everyone for your help!!!
